It doesn't matter which night I come, the lemon drops are ALWAYS consistently delish. Best lemon drops in the city, hands-down. Not too sweet, not too sour. ALWAYS PERFECT. The service is excellent, but as far as servers, Sam is the best. ASK FOR SAM AND TIP HIM WELL. His personality is A1. I recommend the shrimp cocktail, oysters Rockefeller, and the cream cheese trout dip, I think it is. With the toasted cracker bread thingies. If you want my opinion on entrees, offer to take me out and pay and I'll LYK ;) lol j/k bc I will most assuredly tell you "No!" Hahaha

Great food great service. You have to come early to sit at the bar. Bar service is extraordinary and the food is delicious. Parking is a bit of a struggle so Uber if you can. Extra dry martini, carpaccio, oysters, and of course, a juicy ribeye!

really cool place! wanted a steak that wasnt gonna break the bank. Got slow roasted rib eye and the center cut filet. Both were great! The french onion soup was great too. And the collared greens totally changed my dads mind- he used to dislike them. Server was super nice! We got the downstair downstairs and it was like a castle, good vibe for a steak.

Had the meatloaf this time and it was real solid. Alexis is the beet waiter I have had in years. She helped get us a table, she also moved us to accommodate when another person showed. She was prompt and handled out party with ease. We all made sure to tip her well.

Absolutely love this neighborhood gem! We went on Tuesday for Prime Rib night. The prime rib is almost half off and absolutely delicious! They give so much food and its so filling. My wife got a steak and it was her bday and they gave us a free dessert. Make sure to make a reservation if you're trying to go on a Monday because it was so packed! The service was amazing and the ambiance was a nice neighborhood feel. Loved it!

I already knew I was going to like this place as I descended the stairs into the speakeasy-like atmosphere of this underground eatery. I was here for one thing: Monday's $19 prime rib special. Is it the best prime I've ever had? Doesn't matter because it was $19 and I loved it. I was recommended to get it blackened by some other patrons so I went with it and I'm glad I did. Started with the calamari which I didn't regret. Paired my fulfilling meal with a local beer. I left happy. Like the Terminator said...I'll be back.

Came here on a whim after our original plan fell though. Honestly, we had a great tome. I ahd no idea this was here. It's underground which is cool. You'll be surrounded by stacked stone walls. The bar area isn't exacty as cute as the dining room but that didn't matter to us. We ended up in a dining room with lights and huge stone fireplace. Very cozy. Food was good. we split the artichoke dip which was a decent size for an app. My husband got a burger and onion rings. Burger was good. He finished it but was STUFFED. Counld't finish his onion rings but I tired them and they were very good. Thick cut - not super skinny. I got the Checken sandwhich fried, I had them add pimento cheese (no added cost) and it was very good. Highly reccomend. It was humongous. Like the bun was half the size of the chunk of chicken and I will say I would have liked more pimento cheese but I would absolutely order again. I got my go to French 75, it was good, but very lemony. I had them add some st. germain to my secind one and it was better for me (In like sweet/floral) For desert we wanted the bread pudding but it sold out before we could order desert (so if you want that say it up front) so we split a slice of red velvet which was very moist. Not too much icing, but not outstanding. Server was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. We would definitely come back and would bring friends here for an unassuming night.
